Level 3 and Level 4 Programme
British Fencing is launching its National Academy this year. The Academy is the delivery mechanism for future programmes of training for young fencers. It will operate at a national and regional level using principles of Long Term Athlete Development. It will focus on the important training to train & training to compete stages of athlete development and will take an holistic approach for the development of fencers as athletes. It is intended that upwards of 1000 fencers will be included in National and Regional Academies by 2013.
